COPPERFIELD PROPERTY OWNERS  ASSOCIATION
Board of Directors Meeting
March 20, 2012

Approved

Present were:  Jim Cooper-President, Chris Brogan- Vice President, Biagio Simone – Secretary, Maurice Cronin – Treasurer, Ray McDermott- Director & Lesley Studholme- SCM.  A quorum was established.

Guests- No Guests were present

Jim Cooper called the meeting to order at 7:06 p.m. at the Health Center of Merritt Island.   

READING OF THE MINUTES
The minutes of the meeting of January 17, 2012 were read by Biagio Simone. Maurice made the motion to accept the minutes, Ray seconded and all were in favor. 

TREASURER’S REPORT
The treasurer’s reports for the January and February  periods were given by Maurice Cronin- He provided details on the deposits, with drawls and ending balance for the Wells Fargo checking account.    He then included the Fidelity Reserve account deposit, interest and balance.  The two months were combined as one motion made by Biagio to accept the reports as provided, Ray seconded and all were in favor.   The reports are to be made an integral part of these minutes.  

MANAGER’S REPORT
Lesley Studholme of Space Coast Management submitted the manager’s reports for February.  This report consists of tracking non compliance issues in Copperfield.  . Owners have responded and the issues are either being worked on, or completed.  There are still three delinquent maintenance fees seriously outstanding. Lesley has been corresponding with lenders and owners to bring the accounts to date.  It was noted that 1811 Abbeyridge completed the fence replacement however the fence is board on board and not shadow box which has been required in the past on a perimeter fence.  It was also noted that the county did not require a permit as per the owner.

COMMITTEE REPORTS
ARC–   Chris Brogan reviewed 2 ARA’s for the time period which are completed.
   
ARCC-    Tom Loshe did submit an ARCC report which represents February activity   Four ARA’s are completed and approved.  This report is an integral part of these minutes.

LANDSCAPE

Ray McDermott – indicated that the Palm Trees have been trimmed.  It was noted that Southern Greens has been doing a good job.  Ray indicated he will talk with Southern Greens about trimming back the pepper trees on the cul de sac.  

Also, Ray reported that to date:
                North and south storm water outfall damage has been corrected.
               Pepper trees and brush has been cut back to the berm and perimeter stakes.
               The wall has been painted.
               The sign spot lights have been replaced and ground fault outlets installed.
               The electrical service was replace with a new meter box and timer.
               The well pump was replaced and sprinkler timer and cover.

OLD BUSINESS
The yard sale had a moderate turn out.  The Board extended their appreciation for Cheryl Nealon’s hard efforts.  It was discussed that the community yard sale is good because it limits the amount of weekly yard sales to one per year.
