Board of Directors Monthly Meeting Minutes
April 21, 2017 - 7:00 PM

Kelly Stanton called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Present: Kelly Stanton, Charlie Abell, Alyse Avitable and Steve Balch. Also in attendance: Renae Foster with TCB Property Management, and 6 homeowners indicated by the sign-in sheet.
Copperfield POA Mission Statement: Manage the operations of the Association to effectively maintain the community in order to preserve property values and community spirit.
Steve Balch made a motion to accept the March 2017 Board of Director Meeting minutes as presented. Alyse Avitable seconded the motion and the motion was approved unanimously by voice vote.

Landscape Committee Report:
- Renae Foster put together a scope of work to send to the landscapers so they were all bidding on exactly the same work for the front entrance improvements. Southern Greens submitted a bid for a total of $8,650. Blue Bell Landscaping also submitted a bid for a total of $7,449. The other two landscaping companies did not supply a bid for this project.
Charlie Abell made a motion to accept the bid from Blue Bell Landscaping at the amount of $7,449. The total budget item for this is $6,000, and the remaining $1,449 will come out of line items which are not entirely used, the 2017 reserve contributions, and if necessary, the Money Market reserves. Steve Balch seconded the motion and the motion was approved unanimously by voice vote.
Renae Foster will inform both Blue Bell and Southern Greens of the decision, and find out when they will be able to start.

NEW BUSINESS:
ARA Request for Playset Denied: Two homeowners submitted an ARA to install a play set, and were denied by the ARA. The Board listened to the homeowners grievance, and discussed amongst the members present. Renae Foster will contact Sonia to discuss a possible waiver or change to the By-Laws and report back to the Board her opinion on how to proceed.
Adjournment: Charlie Abell made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:40 p.m. Alyse Avitable seconded the motion and the motion was passed unanimously by voice vote.
