Copperfield POA Mission Statement:  Manage the operations of the Association to effectively maintain the community in order to preserve property values and community spirit.

Sherrill Stramara made a motion to accept the October 2017 Board of Director Meeting minutes as presented.  Mary Anne Sonnenberg seconded the motion and the motion was approved unanimously by voice vote.

Sherrill Stramara made a motion to accept the November 2017 Organizational Meeting minutes as presented.  Mary Anne Sonnenberg seconded the motion and the motion was approved unanimously by voice vote.

OLD BUSINESS:

Dead Palm at Entrance-  Steve Balch reported that the Palm has completely died.   We received 3 quotes, one each from Blue Bell Landscaping ($1,830), Three Palms ($2,315), and Extreme Grounds ($1,370).

Mary Anne Sonnenberg made a motion to accept the bid from Extreme Grounds after we get an updated quote, for up to $1,000.  Sherrill Stramara seconded the motion and the motion was passed unanimously by voice vote.

Irrigation System-  Steve met with East Coast Irrigation to look at the system.  They cleaned out some valves, and there was still low pressure.  They recommended that we acid wash the metal screen at the bottom of the well.  The cost is $400, but there is no guarantee that it will improve.  Kelly suggested we call James from Southern Greens to come out and give a recommendation and quote.  Renae will contact them to do that.

Overflow System on the Back Retention Pond- Steve reported that a neighbor asked about the retention pond behind the houses, known as “lake Copperfield”.  Kelly will talk to Extreme to make sure that clearing that pipe is on their list.
