Board of Directors Monthly Meeting Minutes

May 15, 2018 - 7:00 PM

 Steve Balch called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m.

Present:  Kelly Stanton, Mary Anne Sonnenberg, Sherrill Stramara, AJ Nick, and Steve Balch were present.   Also in attendance:  Renae Foster with TCB Property Management, and 5 homeowners indicated by the sign-in sheet.

Copperfield POA Mission Statement:  Manage the operations of the Association to effectively maintain the community in order to preserve property values and community spirit.

Mary Anne Sonnenberg made a motion to accept the April 2018 Board of Director Meeting minutes with discussed changes.  Sherrill Stramara seconded the motion and the motion was approved unanimously by voice vote.

OLD BUSINESS:

Dead Palm at Entrance-  Steve Balch reported the Palm was removed, but now there is a hole there.  Renae will call and make sure they have that hole filled.

Irrigation System-  Steve Balch reported that he had East Coast come out and put the well in.  Steve called and spoke with James at Southern Greens, but he was reluctant to come out.  Kelly said she put in a call to them, and she is awaiting a return call since the well is only two years old she believes they need to come out and figure out what is wrong.

Overflow System on the Back Retention Pond- Kelly Stanton called Extreme, and they came out and cleaned it up, and it looks great.  Kelly will follow up to make sure they got the outflow.

NEW BUSINESS:

Chronicles Topics

  • Picking Up After Pets- include the fining information and telephone number for animal control
  • Parking Over the Sidewalk/Riding Bicycle on Sidewalk as Courtesy
  • Car Break-Ins/Stolen- Don’t leave valuables in the car

No Soliciting Signs- Steve Balch reported that he had his first encounter with a solicitor after the last meeting.  He did some research, and found some options for signs.  The best looking sign was an aluminum sign 24”x 18”, which would need a pole to install.  The sign is approximately $45.00.

Kelly Stanton made a motion to approve the purchase of a sign, pole, and a light up to $150.00.  Sherrill Stramara seconded the motion, and the motion was passed unanimously by voice vote.

Steve Balch will purchase and install the sign. He will try to have it up by the next meeting.

Adjournment: Kelly Stanton made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:39 p.m.  Sherrill Stramara seconded the motion and the motion was passed unanimously by voice vote.
